HR Generalist Middle East and APAC – based in Singapore
Department: Human Resources

Position
This role based in Singapore office reports directly to the HR Manager Middle East and APAC.
Your responsibilities will be spread across Singapore, UAE, Hong-Kong, China, Japan and Australia. You will collaborate with our operations team in each countries. You will manage HR End-to-end operations for all offices. You will contribute making eFront a great place to work in Middle East and APAC

Your main responsibilities will include:

Learning and Development
– Be the point of contact for employees and managers for all HR related programs
– Engage with local managers to identify development needs of their employees
– Collaborate with HRBP to prioritize development needs and organize trainings accordingly
– Work with management to organize training activities
– Drive Engagement Employee Survey participation, debriefing an action plans with local leaders
– Provide employee and managers with support to leverage career tools
– Ensure day to day local implementation of HR policies and tools (mobility, HRIS adoption…)
– Participate to global HR projects with other HR team members of the Group
– Participate in social agenda and charity initiatives

Administration & Legal
– Provide assistance to employee on their day to day queries (leave, payroll, internal policies, etc.)
– Ensure internal HR internal policies are in place
– Manager employment contracts for new comers and addendum when appropriate
– Prepare contracts for foreigners and ensure compliance to local legislation
– Collect mandatory documents to maintain personnel records updated and ensure constant data accuracy in our HRIS
– Monitor employees’ absences follow up, ensure collection of the relative documents and update the HR system accordingly
– Create a memorable onboarding experience of new comers
– Manage health insurance provider (enrollment for newcomers, invoices, contract renewal…)
– Give advice on legal HR matters to managers across region
– Manage the termination process

International Mobility and Immigration

– Manage work permits application for foreigners employees
– Be the managers and employees point of contact for work permit processes (application, renewal, cancellation, dependents)
– Communicate and be the point of contact of Immigration when appropriate
– Coordinate the whole process of work permit and business visas with outsourced providers
– Ensure the international mobility policy is known and implemented by all stakeholders
– Coordinate as per policy throughout the mobility process
– Ensure to employees a great mobility experience
– Work with the managers and outsourced providers on the feasibility of a mobility request
– Define and work on the mobility costs for submission to management
– Prepare the contractual offer of the mobility

Required skills and experience
– Prior experience of 3 years in a HR generalist profile
– Experience in working in an international environment is a must
– Good knowledge of Singaporean labor law
– Knowledge of UAE, Hong-Kong, Beijing, Japanese or Australian labor laws is a plus
– Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities in the same time, sense of urgency
– Great problem solving skills
– Ability to communicate remotely with HR colleagues, employees, managers and external stakeholders
– Act as a resource for employees to foster positive employee relations, team building, conflicts resolution
– Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint, etc.)
– Knowledge of Successfactor HRIS or similar
– Attention to detail and accuracy in every aspect of the role
– Excellent interpersonal skills
